2010 Blog Goals

I started the blog to have a "daily" glimpse at my life. I didn't do as well as I wanted to in 2009, but that is one of my goals for this year. A little tid bit hear and there. So since we are 4 days into the New Year here it goes

Diva and I celebrated New Year's Eve together. I went and got groceries, we picked up movies and saw The colony light show one last time. I did have to have my neighbors tell their guest to move their car since it was blocking my drive way. Who would block someones driveway? That just amazes me you would think nothing of blocking a stranger in or out of their driveway. This was the 4th time in December. I am going to have to talk to them. My neighbor's are really sweet, but that nonsense needs to stop.

Anyhoo, the Diva made it to 11:30 pm and I made it till at little after midnight. It beat my last year's record. I don't think I made it to 10 pm last year. lol To make up for sleeping thru New Tear's The Diva started blowing her noise maker at 8 am. THAT did not go over well and she got banned to the toy room. Yes, it is a harsh punishment to be sent to a room with every toy imaginable. The best part is that it is sound proof.

I did take a minute to reflect on 2009 and although I am not where I want to be in alot of areas of my life. I am doing so much better. I can see the accomplishments I have made in 2 years when I was at my worse. financially, I still NEED and want more, but I am doing so much better. I am still not in love with my job so this year I am going to finally go to Massage Therapy school and see if I can do something I love and make more money or maybe turn it into a full time career. I will keep you posted.

My other goal is to go back to my love of crafts and try to do one craft a month. I am proud of the fact that I finally finished crocheting Diva's blanket. The blanket is a hot mess with all of the colors and different stitches, but she loves it and it keeps you warm.

Well time to log off for now.

Happy 2010 everyone
