Christmas Ornaments

Every year Baby girl gets to pick out 2 ornaments for our tree. This way when she gets her first tree at her first place she will have a box of ornaments that will have special memories and give a glimpse of what she was into that year.

Lately, I have been picking out one or two for myself.

This year, I chose the little camper. I would love to travel the country by camper. I also chose the angel wings because hey I'm an angel at least in my mind. Holli chose the deer antlers because she thought they were different and Milford the rat because she wants a hamster. Not happening, but she keeps that dream alive.

The Diva has been involved with Theatre for the past 6 years. She has had the opportunity to play Mo in Confederate Letters which earner her a Honary All Star Cast Medal at UIL One Act Play

This year before school started we decided to branch out from doing only school productions and try our local community theater. The theater was doing Frozen Jr for their Junior Fall Production. The Diva prepared Almost There for her audition and gave it her best shot. She was open to any role, but figured she would be in the Ensemble.

Imagine her shock when she got a callback for Olaf. Six weeks later after many late night rehearsals. (This is the real deal folks).
The Frozen Jr Cast and Crew opened October 3rd at The Firehouse Theatre in Farmer's Branch, Texas. It was a great run and it brought me so much joy to see my daughter doing something she loved!
